Stress Management

Stress is a normal part of all of our lives. However, sometimes stress builds to the point where it begins to impact how we are functioning at work or in school and in our relationships. If we continue to have high levels of stress our physical and emotional health can be negatively affected. This can lead to engaging in unhealthy behaviours as a way of coping.

You may find you are having a difficult time performing at work with the inability to concentrate as well as before. Perhaps you are experiencing increased conflict or disconnection in your relationships. If you are feeling overall unwell, depleted and not yourself, counselling may help you get back to functioning and feeling better.

Together we will look at what is causing you stress and how it is impacting you. We will also discuss what you can change or shift to reduce your stress level and how you can better cope with things that are not in your control. Ultimately, counselling can help you feel more relaxed, and connected to important people in your life, allowing you to have more fun and enjoy life again.
